1. Glaciers and Mankind
This
exhibit looks at science and myth, especially as it pertains to
the glaciers of the Chamonix valley. It includes some 250
photographs and works of art that illustrate what people
thought about glaciers and what scientists have learned
about them. It can be seen at Espace Tairraz
in Chamonix. Exhibit only in French.

Climate Change: The Threat to Life and A New Energy Future
This
exhibit explores the science, history, and impact of climate
change, and illuminate ways in which individuals,
communities and nations can reduce their carbon footprints.

3. Himalaya
– Changing Landscapes This
photography exhibit demonstrates how climate change
and glacial melting are affecting the highest mountain range
in the world – the Himalayas. The “before and after”
panorama photos show us how these mighty but vulnerable
landscapes have changed in just a few decades.
