I
had a great time meeting you. I spoke to you about the types of books I
write and how my ideas come from my
childhood experiences. I read you Madame Olga's ghost story from my novel The Very Real Ghost Book of Christina
Rose. You can read all of Chapter
One here. You can also read a story that Madame Olga's son
(Roberto) tells (his ghost story is here). If you
like ghost stories, you can
find even more on my site at this link--they
are in the Haunted House
I also read you some of my favorite
mummy stories. Here are some others: The
Loneliest Mummy--a
sad mummy story about the stolen mummy of a 15 year-old girl who is still
displayed at a California museum;
The
Curse of King Tut's Tomb--a
factual look at a misleading story created by the rumors and the media; The
Unlucky Mummy of the Titanic--a
retelling of the legend, followed by the real facts of the case; and The
Mummy's Eyes--a ghost
story of sorts, said to be true...as are a lot of untrue things. Don't read this
one alone at night!
You asked good questions and had
even more when time was up. If you have any more questions or just want to say
hi, you can e-mail me
here. I
hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did.
Thank you to everyone who made my
day so wonderful, especially Mrs. Osso, your excellent librarian.
